General Information
The purpose of GMIS Illinois is to provide a forum for the exchange of ideas, experiences and techniques; and to promote enhancements in hardware, software, and communications developments as they relate to government activities. GMIS Illinois fosters an environment of sharing among all levels of the public sector involved in the vastly growing and continually changing world of technology.

GMIS Illinois is a state chapter of GMIS International. Members belong to and receive membership benefits from both organizations. It is required that a state chapter member also be a member of GMIS International.

Membership is by agency, not by individual, so if your agency is a member then multiple employees from your agency may be registered as participants at all GMIS Illinois activities and events under your single agency membership.
